Our presentation to the EPDP Team and to ICANN’s Government Advisory Council highlighted our concern that ICANN’s focus has been just on data access, without consideration of related, pressing concerns for WHOIS, such the pressing need to improve the accuracy of WHOIS data and to address DNS abuse that is a significant driver of the need to access WHOIS data in the first place. In our presentation, we laid out our holistic approach to address technical, legal, and policy concerns within the ICANN community, along with a live demonstration of our platform that was built to address those concerns.
