InfoNetworks presents on DNS-based trusted frameworks & pseudonymized identity at the CENTR Jamboree
Our presentation included an overview of the key aspects of our approach to trusted ecosystems as applied to domain name services. This includes the ability for verified Registrants to register domains using pseudonymized credentials and the use of a “due process” rule to assist in evaluating requests for access to WHOIS data that considers various criteria related to the registrant, the requestor and the purpose for the request (allowing for manual or automated processing of requests in certain designated circumstances). We provided a live demonstration of our approach to trusted notifier and SSAD that we are piloting with .MUSIC. And, we providedan overview of the current landscape of top-level domains that have implemented, or are currently considering implementing, such programs.
