InfoNetworks participates in the FDITech Digital Identity Tech Sprint in Washington D.C. hosted by FDIC and FinCEN

FDIC and FinCEN concluded their Digital Identity Tech Sprint with a Demonstration Day where eight teams of participants demonstrated their solutions to an expert evaluation panel. Through the Tech Sprint, the FDIC and FinCEN challenged the teams to develop solutions to help measure the effectiveness of digital identity proofing for KYC and AML in the financial sector. InfoNetworks led “Team DNS,” which included representatives from Charles Schwab, DigitCert, AAMVA, fTLD, Microsoft, and CZ.NIC. Our team’s proposal was to establish a trusted credential network with a shared governance model, overseen by a financial industry non-profit or a public-private partnership (PPP), and technical approach for a pilot through a regulator-sponsored sandbox. The pilot would be used to test and assess governance requirements, economic impact, and technical constraints.
