InfoNetworks participated in the UPU Postal Data hackathon to lead our challenge (below) on how the integration of digital identity credentials and postal data could help address global supply chain issues in the pharmaceutical industry. Joining InfoNetworks were representatives from GLEIF, Fraunhofer IAO, GS1, Eurora Solutions, and CorreosChile. Over the two days, the team was able to demonstrate the use of GLIEF vLEIs to cryptographically sign postal customs data associated with a pharmaceutical product being shipped from Europe to Africa. The team was also able to demonstrate the use of TRAIN protocol to access and use information in a trust registry in authenticating several transitions.
