InfoNetworks and CENTR discuss the ICANN communities existing links to the evolving drones and IoT device markets and how registries and registrars might be able to capitalize on these opportunities. Topics to be discussed include ICANN’s recent Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), evolving regulatory changes in the US and EU impacting drones, and the Drone Remote ID Protocol (DRIP) working group within the IETF.
